A native of Texas, Chris is a transplant to the Pacific Northwest. Chris served as a MP in the US Army and US Army Reserves. Assigned to 511th MP Company, 10th Mountain Division (LI), he completed two deployments to the Republic of Panama, one being Jungle Warfare Training at Ft. Sherman. Chris performed numerous protective service details for general officers, including General Wesley Clark (Ret) when he was SOUTHCOM commander. He is also a former NBC specialist.

Chris was accepted for training by the US Border Patrol in 2000, until an injury during the academy cut short that tenure. While with the USBP, Chris underwent the Border Patrol's unique firearms training in both the handgun, shotgun and M4 carbine and completed several firearms qualifications.

Chris has worked as a contractor overseas and in the US since 2005, having supported the ongoing GWOT in Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, and Afghanistan.  A long-time 2A supporter, Chris brings his passion and enthusiasm...along with his technical skills as an assistant instructor with Troubleshooter Tactical.
